Have you ever wanted to get back your deleted twitter account? May be this is why you are here in the first place. Stupid me. Probably you are an incurable web addict who wants to know everything there is about twittering. Whatever be the case I am going to show you how to get back your old deleted twitter account.
If you are one of those shamefaced spammers or twit whores whose account had been suspended by twitter please stop wasting your time as this is no solution for you. Neither have we wanted a solution to be there for you. Sincere folks read on.
Twitter says : If you are trying to restore your account to release a user name or email address, we can permanently delete the old account for you. This will free your user name and email address, but your old account will be gone forever. 
You can follow one of these two steps to reactivate your old twitter account. Nothing technical or time taking, it is as simple as twittering.
- Fill in this reactivation form and let twitter take care of the rest.
- Send a mail form your email account, that you used to register with twitter, to restore@twitter.com . Mention you username (the one you deleted) and reason why you want it back now. Both the options will take around 4 weeks time to take effect. I feel the second method is better and is processed faster.
** Please note that only those accounts deleted within 6 months time can be restored. Else the account and the data is gone for ever. |
